Clone Stamp Tool and the Lens Correction Filter: Two Photoshop CS4 Power Tools

Adobe Systems has always a reputation of developing some sophisticated programs for the graphic designing world. Photoshop CS4 is one such gift from the Adobe stable that has really played a big role in the custom web design segment. What make the program so special are its easy-to-use functions and tools. By a little effort and a small amount of imagination, one can easily do all sorts of graphic edits using the program. A web design service providing agency also uses the program very extensively. Let's have a look at two of its frequently used features ' the Clone Stamp Tool and the Lens Correction Filter.

The Clone Stamp Tool helps web site designers to copy pixels from any place of an image and then let them paint the pixels some where else. With the tool, designers can also copy and place pixels from one image to another. By choosing Option-click (in Mac OS X) and Alt-click (in Windows), one can easily pick up a source point and paint away in or to another place to copy those pixels. The Clone Stamp Tool can be accessed from the toolbox by selecting it. From the options bar across the top of the screen, brush size and type can also be selected. A menu for extended brush options can also be availed by clicking the arrow that's located on the upper right corner of the brush palette.

The Lens Correction Filter which helps graphic designers to address barrel and pincushion distortion,  vignetting and perspective errors and chromatic aberration can be accessed by choosing Filter > Distort > Lens Correction. Arranged in five groups such as the tool panel, the zoom controls, the grid controls, the main control buttons and Settings menu, and the actual filter adjustment controls, it's a really handy tool for removing distortion and many other blemishes.
With the Clone Stamp Tool and the Lens Correction Filter, designing web sites has really become easier now than ever.
